Tyres do not wait for opening time. A nail picked up on the way home from a late shift, a blowout on the way to an early start, a van that has to be loaded and gone by six — none of it lines up neatly with nine to five.
Because the mobile service runs off a van rather than a workshop, the hours it can work are set separately, and the booking form on this site shows exactly what is available on any given day. If a slot appears, it is a slot we can actually do. There is no separate out-of-hours phone number and no guessing.
Some sense first, though. If you are stopped somewhere dark and exposed — a hard shoulder, an unlit lay-by, a country road with no verge — say so when you ring. Working at the roadside at night is a different proposition to working on a drive, and there are places where the right answer is a recovery truck moving you somewhere lit before anybody starts taking wheels off. We will tell you honestly which it is.
If you are at home or somewhere off the road, it is a normal job. We come out, take a look at whether it needs a repair or a replacement, fit it and balance it.
